This is a sweet mature lady that was "dropped off" when the owner moved to California. We feel real sorry for her as she yearns for companionship of people not other ferrets but at a shelter there is only a limited amount of time that can be allotted to each ferret. Please let this sweety into your home and I guarantee she will worm her way into your heart. She deserves a chance to be in a ferret loving home with ferret loving people. This is a domestic ferret that cannot survive in the wilderness plus they are cold weather exotic animals so heat can kill them and should have food and water available to them 24/7. They are quiet and get along well with humans and other animals. As with all animals it will take a little time for you to get used to your new pet so go slowly because he may nip if he is frightened or playing to hard which is why we don't recommend unsupervised younger children.
