3rd Annual BowWowWeen

Much Love Animal Rescue, Friends of Barrington Dog Park and The Pet Staff Pet Sitting present The 3rd Annual BowWowWeen(TM) on Sunday, October 31st at the Barrington Dog Park in Brentwood, CA from noon to 4 pm. Starting at 2:00 pm, the highlight of the afternoon will be a Doggy Costume Contest with the winner of the "best in show" grand prize receiving a year's supply of Wellness brand dog food. Other categories include "funniest costume," "scariest costume," "best owner and doggie duo costume." There will be a $10 entry fee donation for the first submission and $5 for each additional category. Celebrity judges include actor Tori Spelling, actor and supermodel Molly Sims, actor Lake Bell, actor Jason Priestley, comedian Caroline Rhea, comedian Kevin Nealon, actor Andy Richter, actor Cloris Leachman, actor Steve Howey, singer and actor Jaron Lowenstein, radio personality Lisa Fox, everyone's favorite dog Mr. Winkle and senior editor of Los Angeles magazine, Margot Dougherty.

Other activities will include: Dog adoption by various animal rescue groups; pet care information from The Pet Staff Pet Sitting www.thepetstaff.com photo booth for photos of attendees with their dressed-up dogs; mobile microchip clinic; doggy masseuse; expert trainers to answer questions; vendors displaying the latest in must-have dog paraphernalia; artists specializing in animal portraits; catering by Miss Irene's Catering; a rock climbing wall for kids; an agility demonstration for show dog enthusiasts.

A Silent Auction will be held with items including a private jet trip for four to Napa Valley, hotel stays at four star hotels, signed memorabilia from A-list celebrities, a walk-on to a hit television show, gift certificates for award winning restaurants, dog-oriented services and merchandise gift baskets, sporting event tickets, and more. All money raised goes directly to the animals of Much Love Animal Rescue and to support the Barrington Dog Park's renovation efforts.

Admission is free to the public. Free parking is available and additional parking for a fee is available north of the Barrington Post Office lot.

Much Love Animal Rescue is a 100% nonprofit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals. Much Love is run entirely by like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources whose primary focus is finding safe, loving homes for unwanted, neglected and/or abused animals.
