You Are A Dog!

On Wednesday, November 3rd, when the nation was divided by votes and half the country was rejoicing and the other half was weeping, Terry brought both sides together and had both sides laughing in his first official reading of You Are a Dog at Auntie's bookstore in Spokane.

With more than 90 people in attendance, Terry elicited exact responses from folks as they laughed out loud in all the right places, often wiping tears away from their eyes.

The night was not without moments of breathing in, of recognizing the poignancy and sadness in the book, of honoring the humanity and comfort that dogs bring to our lives. All of our dogs would be and should be proud of him.

He ended the night by signing copies of his book for more than thirty minutes.

Make sure to catch him at one of his next readings. You don't want to miss it his gentle humor, his slight dog-like gestures and his captivating voice!
