No-Kill Semi-Cageless Animal Shelter Grand Opening

HELP Humane Society, a No-Kill Semi-Cageless Animal Shelter, is celebrating the Grand Opening of their facility on March 25, 2006 from 10-6 at 507 Main Street, Belton, Missouri, 64012.

HELP Humane Society is the first of its kind, offering a No-Kill Semi-Cageless Facility that contracts with a City Animal Control Agency in the Kansas City Missouri Metro Area. HELP Humane Society is proud of their happy and unique facility where they are able to house and adopt hundreds of cats from the City of Belton, as well as several dogs. They are inviting everyone to tour their new facility and meet the homeless animals available for adoption. Please join them on March 25, 2006 for refreshments, food and fun.

HELP Humane Society first opened its doors in 1996. However, until now, HELP Humane Society's dedicated volunteers rescued, vetted and adopted out hundreds of homeless animals without a facility. Now, HELP Humane Society has a modern shelter where the City of Belton brings all the homeless cats. These cats live at the shelter until good homes are found. HELP Humane Society is also able to house homeless dogs, and hopes to contract with the City of Belton for canines in the future. The facility has numerous free-roaming rooms where the resident cats can live in comfort while waiting for a family.

HELP Humane Society lives off donations, and realizes they can't survive without the financial and emotional support from fellow animal lovers. They currently have 65 Volunteers, and 5 Staff members, and are always looking for more members to join their team. The only experience necessary is a love for animals.
