PetCARE Television Network, Inc. Showcases its New 'Welcome Home' DVD at the NAVC and WSVC

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 3, 2005--PetCARE Television Network, Inc. ("PetCARE TV") (OTCBB:PTNW) announced today that it will be showcasing its new Welcome Home Your New Friend DVD at the North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) to be held in Orlando, Florida on January 9-12, 2005 and the Western States Veterinary Conference (WSVC) to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 21-23, 2005.
The 60-minute, menu-driven Welcome Home Your New Friend DVD features 30 minutes on dogs and 30 minutes on cats, and is designed as an educational tool for veterinarians to give to clients after bringing in a new puppy or kitten for their first visit.
Hosted by Dr. Jeff Werber, this how-to instructional program starts by explaining proper house and crate training, early behavior problems, and the necessity of completing the entire series of initial vaccinations. Information on proper nutrition, dental and general healthcare, pet identification, and the importance of spaying and neutering are also discussed. This DVD explains in simple terms what is expected during the critical first few weeks of pet parenting.
Philip Cohen, PetCARE TV's CEO and Producer/Director stated: "We are eager to get this great tool into the hands of veterinarians to help them end new client dropout. We will be giving away samples of the DVD in our booth at the NAVC and WSVC. This could significantly change the outlook of owners of new pets, making them more aware of the needs of their new companion and helping develop a relationship with their veterinarian for the continuing care needed to keep their pet healthy and happy."
Mr. Cohen continued: "The Welcome Home DVDs are value-priced at $1.50 each for our subscribers and at $2.50 each for non-subscribers and are shipped 50 per pack. This new product is a great complement to our educational DVD magazines currently being viewed in veterinary waiting rooms. I expect all of our almost 2,700 subscribers, as well as a substantial number of non-subscribing hospitals, to be buying monthly inventories to give away."
PetCARE TV's subscriber-based, advertiser-supported network provides educational programming focused on optimal healthcare for animal companions, ultimately resulting in more educated pet owners and more preventative services being performed by their veterinarians. PetCARE TV's DVD magazine for January 2005 features 33 educational segments interspersed with relevant advertising and public service announcements...all written and produced to promote additional services. The DVD magazine runs over two hours in length before it automatically repeats. PetCARE TV programming, which runs continuously in veterinarian's waiting rooms, may be obtained through an annual or three-year subscription, with updated DVD magazines shipped on a monthly basis to all subscribers.
