The Critter Cooler Pet Refreshment Station is a new, patented gravity feed watering system with elevated bowls. The raised bowls come standard at 7.5" tall. If your critter prefers a more elevated bowl, check out the "Critter Crate" which raises the bowls to either 14.5" or 18". Find the "Crate" under "Raised Dog Feeder". The Watering Station fills and re-fills the front bowl with 64 ounces of clean water and is 10" wide. The 2 detachable side food bowls can hold 46 ounces each and are 8.5" wide. The 3" locking wheels provide a stable platform when locked. Each Pet Refreshment Station comes with unique Ant Blockers.
Do your dogs drink out of anything in your yard? The Critter Cooler from Critter Concepts has this problem solved for you. They've designed a gravity feeding waterer for the outdoors.
When we received ours for the review, we put it together in less than 10 minutes. The instructions that came with it are simple to follow. Once together we placed it outside and within a few minutes Our Product Testers, Lulu and Scooby were sniffing around wandering what it was. After placing a little kibble in one of the side food bowls they couldn't stay away from it.
We've got to say, this is one solidly manufactured waterer that will definitely stand up to the elements. The manufacturers prototype is now 4 years old and still “works like a charm”. The heavy-duty casters make it easy to move around and they also lock into place so you don't have to worry about your dogs moving it around.
I'll bet you're thinking about ants getting into the water or food and spoiling everything. They've thought of an innovative way to keep the ants from getting anywhere near the water or food. Just above each caster are ant blockers, which is a plastic reservoir that can be filled with the optional “ant Bath” and is available for an additional $12.95.
So you're wondering how the Critter Cooler works.
On each side of the water bowl are the removable food bowls that are FDA approved and dishwasher safe. You can use them or choose not to as they are easily removable.
When the water is poured in from the top then the lid is securely tightened it creates a tight vacuum seal. Next you open the water valve and you'll see the water come out fast then slow down as it nears the valve. You'll actually hear it glug, glug, glug, glug. When your dog drinks from the bowl water will be replaced to the level of the valve each time.
This is a great idea for outdoor dogs, rescue operations, dog parks or any other outdoor activity your dog is attending.
A little dish soap and a sponge and your Critter Cooler will stay looking brand new for years to come.
We're pleased to rate the Critter Cooler with a “5 Paw” Review.
